It leads us forth in the gifts we bring

Toward the truths we know, and the love we see

The soul is wise old thing

It drives us towards what only we can bring

to be brave and smart, in the life we lead

The soul is a wise old thing.

This life is a mystery,

With its ups and downs, bringing lives to live.

Every twist and turn, bringing loss and strife.

What a mystery is life.

Heart’s break and souls lose their way

Love may leave, but never goes away.

I’ll still search, for my heart still sings

Yes, the heart is a tender thing.
